Many leaders enter home improvement from another field. The challenge is not only learning a new industry. It is finding the place where their skills, drive, and ideas can create real results. Vince Venditti, President and Co-Owner of Premier Home Pros, knows that path well. He started in marketing consulting, moved into finance, and later took what he once viewed as an unusual step into home improvement. That decision opened the door to a career built around growth, leadership, customer service, and business ownership. Today, Premier Home Pros serves homeowners with bathroom remodeling, shower and tub upgrades, conversions, and other services designed to improve their homes.
That journey became the focus of a PowerChat hosted by Greg Cummings, CEO of Power100. The conversation examined how Vince moved through several major companies, what he learned along the way, and why home improvement became the industry in which his career felt most meaningful.

Through conversations with leaders like Vince, the platform gives the industry a closer look at the choices, lessons, and experiences behind business growth.
A career does not always follow the path someone expects.
For many business leaders, the biggest change comes from saying yes to an opportunity that does not look obvious at first. Vince Venditti’s story is built around several of those moments.

Vince Venditti, President & Co-Owner of Premier Home Pros
He began his career working in marketing consulting for a small agency. The company was still young, which gave him the chance to learn from an experienced leader and take on many different parts of the work. From there, he moved into finance at FirstEnergy.
But Vince began to question whether the large corporate path was right for him. He wanted to feel closer to the result of his effort. He wanted to know that working harder, thinking differently, and taking action could help shape where the business went next.
That search led him to Leaf Filter, which was his first major step into home improvement.
At the time, the move felt unusual. Yet it became one of the most important decisions of his career.
Vince spent years learning what growth looked like inside the industry. He later moved to American Residential Services, where he continued building experience across marketing, leadership, and large-scale home services.
Then another unexpected opportunity appeared.
AJ Wadian and Noah Jackson asked Vince to meet with them about Premier Home Pros. Vince was happy in his role at the time and did not want a change. He agreed to breakfast simply to hear them out.
That conversation changed his direction again.
As Vince explained during the PowerChat, his entrepreneurial drive came back.
“I have to do this,” Vince recalled thinking.
The opportunity gave him something he had been searching for since earlier in his career. He could help build the company, take ownership of the outcome, and see more clearly how his decisions shaped growth.
By the time he sat down with Greg Cummings for the PowerChat, Vince had become a Co-Owner of Premier Home Pros alongside AJ and Noah. He also shared that the company had already surpassed the yearly revenue goal discussed during the interview, reaching $50 million in year-to-date sales.
But the number was not the strongest part of his story.
His view of the industry was.
“I don’t know that I grew up dreaming of working in home improvement, but it’s been the best thing that’s ever happened to me, and it’s just such a great industry to be in,” Vince said.
That statement gives the growth story a different meaning.
Home improvement was not the career Vince had planned from the beginning. It became the place where the lessons from marketing, finance, large companies, and fast-growing businesses finally came together. It also became the place where he could move from helping companies grow to owning and building one.
Premier Home Pros now serves homeowners seeking services including bathroom remodeling, shower updates, conversions, and one-day bathroom remodels when the scope allows. But behind the company’s growth lies a much more personal story about finding the industry where Vince felt he could make his strongest mark.
The career was unexpected.
The choice to keep building in it was not.
As Greg Cummings moved through Vince Venditti’s career story, a clear pattern began to form. Vince did not enter home improvement with a long-term plan to become an owner. Instead, each role helped him learn what kind of work gave him energy and what kind of environment allowed him to make a real difference.
His early years taught him to value learning. Corporate life taught him that comfort was not enough. Leaf Filter showed him how far a company could grow when opportunity met action. American Residential Services gave him another view of scale. Then Premier Home Pros gave him the chance to bring those lessons together as an owner.
The value of Vince’s story is not only in where he ended up. It is how each move prepared him for the next one. His path shows that careers can change direction while still building toward something meaningful.
Vince’s first lessons came from a small marketing consulting firm led by a former Goodyear executive. The business had only a small group of clients, which meant there was no narrow lane for Vince to stay inside. He had the chance to learn many parts of the work and see how decisions were made close to the customer.
That early experience mattered because it gave him a taste of what building felt like.

Happy Customer – Premier Home Pros
His next move took him in a very different direction. Vince joined FirstEnergy and worked in finance within a much larger company. The role gave him a different kind of experience, but it also helped him learn something important about himself.
He recalled walking through the office and seeing a message thanking an employee for 15 years of service. Instead of seeing that as the future he wanted, Vince began to question whether the same path was right for him.
He said there were days when it felt as if he could work 16 hours and nobody would notice, or work 4.5 hours and nobody would notice.
That lack of connection between effort and outcome stayed with him.
“I always wanted to just be able to really create my destiny in a way,” Vince said.
Long before he was helping lead a growing bathroom remodeling contractor, Vince was already looking for a place where his work could have a clear effect. He wanted responsibility. He wanted movement. Most of all, he wanted to know that what he put into the business could help shape what came out of it.
Leaving a large company for Leaf Filter did not look like the safe next step.
Vince described it as a strange move at the time. Leaf Filter was around a $35 million company when he joined, much smaller than the corporate setting he was leaving behind. Yet the smaller business gave him something he had been looking for.
There was room to help build.
Vince joined Leaf Filter in 2014 and stayed until 2022. During that period, he said the company grew from around $35 million to about $1.8 billion. That kind of change gave him a close view of what scale really demands.
Still, Vince did not tell the story as if every result came from him.
“Right place, right time. That’s absolutely true. Also, took a lot of the right action during that right place, right time,” he said.
He also pointed to the mentors who helped him along the way.
That balance matters. Vince knows opportunity played a role, but he also knows opportunity only becomes valuable when people act on it.
The same lesson can matter for any bathroom renovation company today. A strong market can create an opening. More demand can create a chance to grow. But the business still has to make the right choices when that opening appears.
For Vince, Leaf Filter became far more than another job. It was where home improvement first showed him how much could be built when a company had room to move and people willing to move with it.
Explore the services and growth story behind Premier Home Pros.
After Leaf Filter, Vince became CMO at American Residential Services, a large heating, cooling, and plumbing organization with more than 70 companies nationwide.
That move gave him another view of the industry.
He had now worked inside a fast-growing home improvement company and a major home services organization. The size was different. The services were different. The teams were different.
But many of the growth questions stayed the same.
Those questions would later become central to the way Vince talked about growth at Premier.
His experience also gave him confidence without leading him to believe that a single old plan would always work. Later in the PowerChat, Vince spoke often about testing, learning, and improving. What worked in one company could provide useful lessons for another, but each business still had to understand its own situation.
That matters when serving homeowners with needs as specific as a tub-to-shower conversion. Growth is not only about creating more demand. It is about having a business that can respond to diverse customer needs, backed by the right people and processes.
By the time Premier entered Vince’s story, he had already spent years building the tools he would need there.

Vince was not searching for a new job when Premier Home Pros entered the picture.
He said he was happy at American Residential Services. The founders, AJ Wadian and Noah Jackson, reached out and asked him to hear them out over breakfast.
The company they described was still young.
Vince recalled being told that Premier expected to produce around $15 million in sales that year and had a goal of reaching around $25 million the next year.
He was coming from a much larger organization. From the outside, moving into a young company could have looked like a step toward more risk.
Vince felt something different.
At breakfast, the part of him that wanted to build came back to life.
“That entrepreneur fire was just lit in me,” he recalled. “I have to do this.”
That moment brings the earlier parts of his career together.
Years earlier, Vince had left corporate life because he wanted to feel more connected to the outcome. Now he had the chance to join a young company where the outcome could become personal.
He eventually became an owner alongside AJ and Noah.
That ownership gave Vince a new place to apply everything he had learned about marketing, scale, systems, and growth while serving homeowners with projects that can include services such as walk-in tub installation.
There was only one breakfast. But for Vince, it became the meeting that turned years of experience into a new chapter of ownership.
By the time Vince joined Greg Cummings for the PowerChat, the young company he had chosen to help build had already moved well beyond the early goals discussed at that breakfast.
Vince shared that Premier had reached $50 million in year-to-date revenue and had passed the yearly revenue goal at that point in the interview.
The number was impressive, but Vince quickly gave a clearer picture of what he believed was creating the result.
“We’ve got Premier people with a Premier process and a Premier product,” he said.
That simple framework turns the milestone into more than a revenue story.
People have to do the work.
The process has to help them repeat good work.
The product has to give homeowners something the company can stand behind.
When those pieces support each other, marketing can create more value and growth has a stronger base.
That is also why Vince’s story should not be reduced to a single sales number or a single growth tactic. Throughout the conversation, he came back to action, systems, testing, speed, and the need to improve what happens inside the business.
For homeowners considering a one-day bathroom remodel when the project allows, speed may be one of the factors they value. Inside a growing company, however, delivering that customer experience still depends on the people and processes that make the promise possible.
The $50 million milestone mattered because it showed that the young business Vince chose was moving. The larger story was how the company was learning to move together.
After taking Greg through the moves from consulting to finance, from Leaf Filter to American Residential Services, and finally to Premier, Vince ended his career story with something more personal than a growth number.
“I don’t know that I grew up dreaming of working in home improvement, but it’s been the best thing that’s ever happened to me,” he said. “It’s just such a great industry to be in.”
That statement says a great deal about what Vince found along the way.
Home improvement gave him the link between effort and impact that he had been searching for early in his career.
It gave him space to learn from strong mentors.
It let him see companies grow from several different seats.
And today, it gives him the chance to build as an owner.
The industry also keeps changing. Homeowners want better experiences, easier ways to improve their homes, and solutions that fit how they live now. Services such as accessible bathroom remodeling show how the work can go beyond updating a room. The right project can help make a home easier and more comfortable to use.
For Vince, there is still more to build.
His story shows that people do not need to begin their careers in home improvement to find a future in it. Experience from marketing, finance, operations, sales, and many other fields can become useful when someone is willing to learn the industry and take ownership of the work.
The career Vince never planned became the industry where his past experience finally had a place to come together.
And after everything he has seen, built, and learned, he still speaks about that industry with the energy of someone who believes its best opportunities are ahead.
Vince Venditti once entered home improvement without knowing it would become the industry where he wanted to build his future. Today, recognition from both the business community and the remodeling industry shows how far that unexpected path has taken him.

Vince Venditti was named to the Crain’s Cleveland Business 40 Under 40
In 2025, Vince was named to the Crain’s Cleveland Business 40 Under 40 class, placing him among young professionals making a growing impact in Northeast Ohio. The recognition carries special meaning because Premier Home Pros is headquartered in Akron, Ohio, giving Vince’s national growth story strong roots in the region where the company continues to build its team and operations.
His work has also been recognized in the remodeling industry. Pro Remodeler named Vince to its 2025 Forty Under 40, highlighting his move from established home service companies into business ownership. The publication highlighted the challenge of building Premier Home Pros’ corporate systems from the ground up, including finance, human resources, account management, call center operations, and the processes needed to support rapid growth.
That recognition adds another layer to the story Vince shared with Greg Cummings. The industry he never expected to join has become the place where he is now being recognized as one of the younger leaders helping shape what comes next.
Vince’s personal honors are being matched by growing recognition for the company he helps lead.

In August 2026, Premier Home Pros was ranked No. 21 on the Qualified Remodeler TOP 500, marking its third straight appearance on one of the remodeling industry’s best-known national lists. The company first entered the ranking at No. 178 in 2024, climbed to No. 39 in 2025, and then moved to No. 21 in 2026.
The rise has happened while the company continues to expand. Premier reported more than $151 million in gross sales for 2025 and entered 2026 with 18 offices nationwide. It also opened a 60,000-square-foot Central Distribution Center in Brunswick, Ohio, to strengthen inventory, product availability, and quality control across its growing network.
For Vince, that progress connects back to a lesson at the center of his PowerChat. Growth becomes meaningful when it creates something stronger than a larger number. It should build better systems, create room for people to grow, and provide homeowners with a more reliable experience as the company expands into new markets.
“Our growth is made possible by the talented people who deliver to our customers every day,” Vince said when Premier announced its 2026 Qualified Remodeler ranking. “As we continue expanding, we remain focused on building a strong culture and providing homeowners with an exceptional remodeling experience.”
That may be the clearest proof of how Vince’s unexpected career has changed. What began as a move into an industry he never planned to join has grown into recognized leadership, expanding operations, and a chance to help shape the future of a national home improvement company.
The awards recognize Vince. The rankings recognize Premier Home Pros. Together, they show that the industry Vince once entered by chance has become the place where his work is now leaving a visible mark.
Vince Venditti’s story is a reminder that the best career path is not always the one that looks clear from the start.
He did not begin in home improvement. He did not grow up planning to lead a remodeling company. His path moved through consulting, finance, large companies, fast growth, and finally ownership.
What makes the journey meaningful is that each move gave him something he needed before he knew where it would lead.
The early roles taught him how much he valued learning and impact. Bigger companies showed him what scale looked like. Home improvement gave him the chance to put those lessons into action. Premier Home Pros gave him the chance to make that growth personal.
The $50 million milestone Vince shared during the PowerChat was important, but it was not the true ending of the story. The stronger point is that the milestone confirmed something Vince had already begun to understand about himself.
He had found the kind of industry where he wanted to keep building.
“I don’t know that I grew up dreaming of working in home improvement, but it’s been the best thing that’s ever happened to me,” Vince said.
That is what gives his story lasting value.
Careers do not have to begin with a perfect plan. Sometimes the right path becomes clear only after enough experience shows you where your skills, ambition, and values fit best.
For Vince, that place became home improvement.
And as Premier Home Pros continues to grow, his story points to something larger than a single company or a single revenue goal. It shows what can happen when a leader finds an industry worth committing to, keeps learning from every stage, and stays close enough to the work to see the impact of each decision.
Vince did not enter home improvement because it was the career he always imagined.
He stayed because it became the place where he could build, grow, take ownership, and keep finding new reasons to believe in what comes next.

No. Vince Venditti began his career in marketing consulting before moving into finance at FirstEnergy. He later joined Leaf Filter, entering the home improvement industry and gaining experience during a major period of company growth. After serving as CMO at American Residential Services, he joined Premier Home Pros and became President & Co-Owner. His path shows that his experience in home improvement grew over time rather than beginning with bathroom remodeling.
Premier Home Pros now offers both bathroom remodeling and professional flooring installation. Its flooring services include luxury vinyl plank and luxury vinyl tile. The company says these flooring products are designed to be waterproof, durable, and professionally installed for everyday use. Homeowners looking to install luxury vinyl flooring can review available services from Premier Home Pros before planning their project.
Premier Home Pros gives homeowners several ways to personalize a new shower. Options can include engineered stone wall surrounds, shower doors, rainfall showerheads, and other design choices. The goal is to create a shower that fits the homeowner’s style and daily needs, rather than offering only a single standard design.
Yes. Premier Home Pros says its remodeling team removes old tubs and showers and disposes of them before installing the new bathroom products. This allows homeowners to work with one remodeling team for more of the project, rather than finding a separate company to remove the old fixtures first.
Yes. According to the company’s bathroom remodeling FAQ, Premier Home Pros can address plumbing and electrical systems when the project requires that work. This helps the remodeling team manage key aspects of the project while prioritizing safety and reliability. Homeowners planning a larger bathroom remodel should still discuss the exact scope of the project during their consultation.
Yes. Premier Home Pros offers financing options for qualifying homeowners seeking an alternative way to manage the cost of a bathroom or home improvement project. Because project prices can vary based on materials and scope, the company recommends scheduling a consultation to obtain a project-specific quote and discuss available financing options.
