Customers often ask, “Why the name, FAS”? We’re glad you asked! Ernie and John Wilding have been a well known duo in the S.C.C.A. auto racing community for many years. The name of their racing team is “FAS Autosport”, a moniker that was coined by John when they started racing back in 1999. When the two men designed the concept for the window and door business they carried over the name from their family hobby.
Ernie Wilding, the father, hails from a highly successful business background, having founded two home improvement companies (one in Florida and one in North Carolina) that were then built into strong entities of their own. Ernie, a father of four, fulfilled a long-held personal desire by partnering with his son, John, to found the premier window and door provider in Central Florida.
FAS was founded on a simple premise: homeowners as well as building professionals want quality products that are substantial, skillfully crafted and installed by professionals. While this remains at the heart of what FAS achieves each and every day, we’ve learned a great deal from our customers over the years as we’ve established our business.
