The American dream was alive and well in 1961. That was the year that Melvin Monsein followed his dream and founded a small home improvement company. Determined and enthusiastic, he soon discovered that, while his commitment to excellence separated him from competitors, only time would allow him to establish his reputation.
Melvin’s hard work prevailed. Incorporated in 1963, The Aluminum Company of North Carolina was already developing a sterling reputation. Homeowners searching for a sense of security were relieved to find a long list of assured customers who experienced the dedication, expertise and follow-up from this young Raleigh-Durham company.
Our Commitment to Quality
The ideals of excellence were passed from the father to his son Jeff. After college at East Carolina University, Jeff Monsein was working alongside his father, discovering for himself that the company’s success was evidence of that original commitment to quality.
In 1984, Melvin Monsein retired. Jeff accepted the challenge to carry on the reputation of The Aluminum Company of North Carolina: “Give the people a good quality product and service…even after the job is finished.”
A Tradition Lives On
In 2018, when Jeff Monsein retired, Sami Hanna, Aluminum Company of NC Operations Manager since 1994, assumed the role of President. Sami has run many aspects of the company for decades and continues with all of the well-known traditions for which the Aluminum Company is famous.
Sami stated, “We are proud to honor all Aluminum Company contracts regardless of when they were made, and these include lifetime warranties, free no-obligation estimates, interest-free financing and payment only after the job is completed.”
Jeff continues in a consulting role, always advising us, and you will continue to hear him on the radio, including new advertisements which are still in the planning stage.
