We have a wide range of products you can peruse, and you can speak with one of our experienced home improvement experts. Serving the Northern Virginia region, S&K Roofing, Siding and Windows has a branch location and showroom in Sterling, VA. Opened in 2016, our Virginia team is quickly becoming one of the area’s most trusted exterior replacement contractors. Our Team
Over the years, the S&K Roofing, Siding and Windows team has grown from a 2-person operation in 1980 to a team of more than 35 full-time employees. Your needs, questions and concerns are addressed immediately and professionally from proposal request to job completion. An estimator will call you for the initial consultation, and our team of professionals will see the job through to completion. Our foremen are the best in the industry and all our field supervisors have been carefully selected and well-trained.
Our History
In 1980, Don Katzenberger was a hard-working, ambitious young man. Having worked as a roofer in high school, when Don graduated he and a partner decided to start their own roofing company – S&K Roofing. The pair’s hard work, attention to detail and a focus on customer satisfaction quickly allowed them to add staff and contractors.
From 1980 to 2003, S&K Roofing had grown from a 2-person operation to a 20-person operation with revenue in excess of $8M. During that time period S&K also added services, including siding, windows, gutters and decks.
In 2001, S&K Roofing solidified their growing infrastructure and officially changed to S&K Roofing, Siding and Windows to better represent the company’s expanding services. It was then, too, that they decided to adopt the tag line, “Worry Free. Guaranteed.”
In 2006, S&K moved to a brand new building and showroom in Eldersburg, Maryland (Carroll County).
In 2008, S&K won their first Angie’s List Super Service Award, and has earned it each year since.
In 2009, S&K added blown-in attic insulation to their list of services to help their customers make their homes more energy efficient.
In 2016, S&K opened a branch office in Sterling, Virginia to better serve our growing number of customers in the Northern Virginia region.
In 2020, S&K celebrated our 40 year anniversary. Still family-owned and operated, still Worry Free. Guaranteed.
