from Holy Ghost Prep School in 1971, where he not only excelled academically but also
played a pivotal role in the school’s basketball team, he embarked on a path that would
define his career. In 1974, he graduated from Philadelphia College of Textiles &
Science, now known as Jefferson University, with a Bachelor of Science degree, even
managing to find time for freshman basketball.

door distribution.

Gindele’s career is peppered with remarkable achievements. In 1984, he made the
significant decision to move to California, where he founded a residential roofing
company. Just five years later, in 1989, he ventured into the world of residential window
replacement, demonstrating his adaptability and vision for the evolving market.
In 1991, he took a pivotal step by starting a wholesale door distribution catering to
residential remodeling contractors. His companies joined the Dial One franchise
network in 1993, further solidifying his presence in the industry. Gindele’s dedication to
excellence was recognized with the Renewal by Andersen Best of the Best award in
2011 and the RBA Green Diamond Customer Service awards in 2018 and 2019.

In 2019, Renewal by Andersen corporate purchased Charlie Gindele’s company from
him and his partner, David Moore, making it a Company Owned Retail Operation
